RB Designs was founded by designer Rachel Burklund in 2007. After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Burklund worked in San Francisco and Seattle, testing her skills as a clothes designer. A trip to Brazil opened her eyes to jewelry and she became entranced by the way it was worn and designed, fueling her motivation to design her own beautiful and confident collection.
Following the asymmetric styles and fluidity of what she saw in South America, Burklund sought to challenge the way people wear jewelry.
